![]() You can trade with any of the crew, especially the captain who may have a few items of interest. On the other side of the dock is a ship with a full crew. Talk to the middle sailor to start the side quest The Shipless Sailors. On one side is a burnt ship with three sailors in front of it. ![]() Now head down the dock that had the ship on fire. Try to keep them apart to prevent unnecessary damage. The orcs also have a shaman in their party, and his magic, while not overly strong, hits a range that may damage both of your characters at once. Their commander is a man with a bow, and he's fairly accurate you'll need to take him down fast. The orcs themselves are melee only and can be picked off from a distance. This battle can be a little tough since the orcs are fairly strong, and their companions can shoot you for moderate damage from a distance. After the fight, you'll trigger and resolve the Orc Fight on the Beach side quest. Luckily, a few other legionnaires are nearby, and they'll help you out automatically. You'll follow a snaking path to a lower beach, and you'll be set upon by some orcs. Once you're past them, the path becomes fairly linear. Speaking to them, and choosing whichever option, both activates and resolves the Guards at the Bridge side quest. (Note: if you barter with them, then instigate the fight and win, you can get all the stuff you sold to them back.) Either way, be sure to heal fully before moving on. If you refuse, they will immediately attack you. However, as the conversation closes, they'll want to escort you to the city. Speak to them, and they'll even offer to barter with you. You'll encounter a bridge guarded by two drunk legionnaires. Go back to the Waypoint Portal, then move directly northwest. Speak to it to trigger the A Shell on the Beach side quest. Make sure to pick up the shovel next to the waypoint as you will be using this at various points throughout the game.įrom the Waypoint Portal, head southeast, go under the curve rock, keep going and you'll find a large shell on the beach. Just seeing it (i.e., within the same screen of your character) will permanently trigger it, and you can use it to get around to other areas of the game. Follow this river as it goes northwest, and you'll find your first Waypoint Portal. ![]() Either way, you'll need to continue west along the beach to move on.Īssuming you're starting at the location of the first fight, you need to go southwest. If you enter and clear it, you'll exit just to the northwest of the first fight. This will also cause you to get -1 Reputation.If you ignore the door or don't realize it's there, and instead continue west, you'll get a pop-up box warning you that the tutorial dungeon exists. Or you can keep the staff and also get +1 Materialistic. You can return the staff to him for +1 Spiritual.Pick up that Staff and return to Mayor Cecil to complete the quest. After defeating him, you will earn +7000 XP and the Staff of Pergamon will drop.AOE damage spells work best if you wait till they all show up. As the fight continues, more and more will join in the fight. When you approach him, he will instruct his goons to attack you first.You can find Dietmar in the northern part of Cyseal, past the Secluded Beach Waypoint.Speaking with Conrad about Dietmar will make him suggest that he may have ran off to some unknown beach.He will inform you about a Dietmar he saw running away with the package during the Orc attack that took place earlier. Talk to one of the men around the ship, named Marv.You will learn that the seller was Conrad, a wizard/merchant. After speaking with Cecil, you will learn about his purchase and learn that he never got it.Staff of Pergamon (If you choose to keep it).Your task will be to investigate the matter. He will tell you about a powerful staff named Staff of Pergamon that he purchased but never had delivered to him. This quest is obtained from Mayor Cecil in the City of Cyseal Town Hall. Cecil's Mighty Staff is a Side Quest in Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition.
